Poems – Focus.

Think about it. How easy is it to complain about the things we don’t have..the job we don’t have, or the money, or the life that we don’t have? The things that we think we need, the things that we think will make us better or happier or more complete?

.

What would happen if we focused more of that energy on trying to fix some of the things that keep us in a state of discontent? There’s a lot that we don’t do, mostly because we’re afraid of doing them. There’s so much power in self love and self examination. Let’s look inward and redirect more of our love and energy toward what WE can do to find meaningful solutions.

Poems – Relax.

This world can stress us out. Go ahead, admit it. We’ve all got so much on our plates these days that it’s easy to feel like you’ve lost control a bit. But is all that worry worth it?

.

Relax. How many of those stresses, in the end, will have mattered? Maybe we take this life too seriously sometimes. Enjoy it.

Poems – Inside the Box.

We’re always told to think outside the box. Often, that’s a very good thing to do. To get creative. To think differently. To take chances. To remove ourselves from the safety of our comfort zones. Hopefully by doing that (thinking outside the box), we can make thinking differently a normal process (inside the box). Think about it.

Quotes – Our Own Lives.

We are sort of bombarded these days by celebrity news…magazines and television shows fill our heads with news of who is dating who, who is doing what, and who is going where. Between celebrity gossip and reality TV, it’s easy to get caught up in the web of someone else’s life, and sometimes that can cause us to look down upon or neglect our own. While it’s fun to check it all out sometimes, let’s remember to keep the focus on doing what we can to live our own lives the best way we know how.
