Poems – If They Can, So Can You.
Why is it so easy to convince ourselves that we can’t do something that someone out there is already doing? When it comes to our dreams, we may think to ourselves, “there’s no way I could ever do that”, when others are out there doing it as we speak. Or worse yet, never even try because we convince ourselves that we’ll fail. BUT…if someone else can accomplish that same dream (more than likely, somebody is out there doing and excelling at what you dream of doing), then why can’t you?

Poems – Who You Are.
Who we are today…this version…is the one that we need to be concerned with the most. How can we improve upon today so that tomorrow can be better? Living in the past keeps us trapped in a bubble, preventing us from finding any sort of forward momentum.

Poems – Content.
We’re inundated with content these days; social media, emails, games, Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, podcasts, and dozens upon dozens of streaming or subscription services. It’s a content overload. Everywhere we look, something or someone is trying to buy our attention. But does it truly fulfill us? Do they satisfy a hunger or a need? Is it quantity? Quality? Could it be that so much of our day is spent consuming content – to perhaps fill a life devoid of real, meaningful, purposeful content? Just a thought.

Poems – Blue Answers.
Keep searching, keep fighting, keep dreaming, and keep believing.

Poems – Build the Calm.
Chill out. Relax. The world is a busy place, and we are so often like ants clambering around trying to catch up and trying to find our place. Why not slow it down a bit? Life shouldn’t have to rush by us. Create a peace so beautiful that the days slow down to catch up with YOU.

Poems – Today.
We can’t live yesterday and today at the same time.

Poems – Moonlight.
What story would it tell?

Poems – Simple Beauty.
Sometimes the simple beauty holds the most power.

Poems – Expectations.
We expect a lot from other people. We sometimes expect others to bring their A game to the table….to be better friends, companions, coworkers, or family members. But are we doing the same? If we’re going to expect these behaviors from other people, we’ve got to first develop them in ourselves.

Poems – Make It Through.
So often, the trail to success or peace is littered with tears, failure, setbacks, discomfort, or trials of some sort. That’s just life.
But if you make it through, all of those little setbacks and unforeseen events become worthwhile parts of the journey. They become lessons. Tools. Bridges. All of those failures become the bricks that line your path to something greater.
What matters is that you did it, you endured, you persevered, despite the odds stacked against you. It’s impossible to get through life without a little mud on your shirt, without a few cuts and scrapes. But if you’re still standing in the end, there’s value in that. Keep charging forward.
