Library Lusting.
Great libraries generally ignite an interest in reading. As a side effect, they should also compel one to relax and unwind. A great theme of home libraries is just that; a marriage of those two concepts, visually appealing, and structurally useful. This week’s selection has a sublime mix of simplicity and sophistication with its industrial elements and expansive windows. Its crafty little details just scream comfort, and the ladder? C’mon. That’s just awesome. This is most certainly a book lover’s room. Let the daydreams commence.

Poems – The Journey.
We carry a lot of stuff with us on our journey. Memories of the past, regrets, or just the every day material things that we all give importance to. We all have our physical baggage. However, none of those things should take precedence over the light that shines inside of us. Don’t let that dim. That light shines on our hopes, our dreams, and our drive to push forward every day. Keep that inner fire burning brighter than anything else.

Poems – The Spirit.
Sometimes we lose our drive, our mojo, and our motivation. We can lose our purpose and our reason to do the things that we love to do; those things that make us who we are. And when that happens, progress inevitably stalls.
But the spirit inside us remains. The spirit of survival. The drive to overcome, to thrive, and to be who it is we want to be. To do what it is we were created to do. You may lose your voice for a while, but deep down, the passion is there, just waiting. Let’s dig deep and reclaim that voice. Its message matters.

Poems – Build the Calm.
Chill out. Relax. The world is a busy place, and we are so often like ants clambering around trying to catch up and trying to find our place. Why not slow it down a bit? Life shouldn’t have to rush by us. Create a peace so beautiful that the days slow down to catch up with YOU.

Poems – Healing.
Real stuff. I spent years bashing my past, and not surprisingly, that self bashing affected the present. How we perceive our past selves completely affects how we see the one that looks back at us in the mirror every day. Acceptance. Forgiveness. Two very critical words that I’ve become familiar with on my journey…they both lead to love. Love who you were…heal who you are. Become who you were meant to be.

Poems – Why Not Do It?
People out there are doing what we’re only dreaming about doing – and they’re doing it successfully.
They’re doing it right now. Think about it.
What steps can we take to realize those dreams and goals?
Dust them off and create a blueprint. Why not start today?

Poems – Just Write.
Writing is good for the soul. Do it for yourself. Get those thoughts out, wherever, whenever, and however you can.

Poems – Fallow.
Sometimes you need to step back, take a break, and recharge in order to come back stronger than before.

Poems – If They Can, So Can You.
Why is it so easy to convince ourselves that we can’t do something that someone out there is already doing? When it comes to our dreams, we may think to ourselves, “there’s no way I could ever do that”, when others are out there doing it as we speak. Or worse yet, never even try because we convince ourselves that we’ll fail. BUT…if someone else can accomplish that same dream (more than likely, somebody is out there doing and excelling at what you dream of doing), then why can’t you?

Poems – Who You Are.
Who we are today…this version…is the one that we need to be concerned with the most. How can we improve upon today so that tomorrow can be better? Living in the past keeps us trapped in a bubble, preventing us from finding any sort of forward momentum.
