Thanks Steven! I am a huge admirer of the old expressionistic pieces, and the raw, pure emotion that they convey. It’s like visual poetry, the exaggerated and distorted lines and features and brush strokes…like a distortion/reflection of reality. Very full of ‘feeling’. Egon Schiele, in my opinion, was the best of them!
You’re right. I think it’s the raw exaggeration that caught my attention. Full of feeling is right. You can’t help but notice it and come away with something.

Me too. He was a very complex individual. I’m sure the conversation would be as expressive as his artwork.
