Thanks Steven! I am a huge admirer of the old expressionistic pieces, and the raw, pure emotion that they convey. It’s like visual poetry, the exaggerated and distorted lines and features and brush strokes…like a distortion/reflection of reality. Very full of ‘feeling’. Egon Schiele, in my opinion, was the best of them!
You’re right. I think it’s the raw exaggeration that caught my attention. Full of feeling is right. You can’t help but notice it and come away with something.

There’s always something new that can be discovered behind those brush strokes. Thanks for dropping by, Steven!
And you’re a talented artist. Not surprised, but this is great.

You’re welcome. 🙂
I would like to go back in time and have a conversation with Schiele.
Me too. He was a very complex individual. I’m sure the conversation would be as expressive as his artwork.
