Is it just a room, or is it something more?  At first glance, one may not celebrate its ambiance.  At first glance, it looks like, well…just a room.  Nothing more than a bed and a window; but what’s on the surface can often be deceiving.  What’s celebrated here is simplicity; in the rugged, organic structure of the bed, complemented thoughtfully by the sturdy nightstand, all while gently being watched over by a minimal floor lamp.  But all of that frames the highlight of the space…the window.  That lush, sylvan view adds just a touch of beautiful complication to the stillness.  Let the daydreams commence.

Is anyone else ready for winter (well, those of us in the States)?  Photos like this week’s space just open up the inner wintry spirit.  One look at this bright, airy space is enough to get the itch for snow (sitting inside, chilling…not driving in it).  And despite the glorious cold stuff packing gently outside of the room in this photo, the space retains a spectacularly cozy warmth due to the rich, warm wooden hues.  This is a coffee sipping, winter loving space indeed.  Let the daydreams commence.

I could run through quite a few hours here, lost in thought.  Clean lines, fresh, open air, lush, wooded horizon, and minimal details lead to one clean, relaxed ambiance.  It’s the perfect place to kick back, close your eyes, and find your peace…as well as the ideal place to post up, open your eyes, and appreciate the immense beauty of the world.  Oh, and the snow is awesome, too.
