The seasons can sometimes tell a story. Life, growth, rebirth, you name it. Take a look, and take a listen. What do they say to you?
Sometimes, the strongest things come from the darkest places. If you’re ever in that spot, don’t worry; just keep climbing upward.
Sure, we’ve all heard this a million times, but there’s nothing wrong with a little reminder. Live life for you and those around you…not for the things that surround you.
Life is precious. Let’s soak it up, live it up, and appreciate it.
Sometimes you just have to stop and appreciate the moment. Don’t sweat tomorrow when you can enjoy what’s going on right now.
Silence has a voice too, if you’re tuned in to hear it.
I put the word ‘weakest’ in quotations to stress importance of the word. We often feel broken down, beaten up, and spit out by the rigors that we go through day to day. Sometimes we’re deconstructed to a point where we feel like we’re holding ourselves together by the thinnest of threads. That’s where real strength comes into play.
So often, what seems like a weak link is really perseverance; it takes a lot to hold it all together, to remain standing in the face of the strong winds that blow our way. I write a lot about positivity and moving forward, because I really believe in the power of that. If you’ve ever felt like a weak link, don’t let it defeat you. Stay strong. Hold that shit together. What can appear as weakness could be seen as strength. It’s all in the perception.
Why does it seem like it’s easier to break stuff than to rebuild it? One of the easiest things to do is sabotage your spirit; the dismantling of confidence, self esteem, and self worth really just takes a few hard hitting comments. The damage is done after that.
We often beat ourselves up more than anyone else that we know.
But with anything, there’s always hope. There’s always a day where we can look at our lives and ourselves and say “enough”, even if that day comes time and again. So pick it up, get up, and get to moving in the right direction. You can do it.
Don’t be afraid to find your voice. Find it, develop it, and put it to work. With so much going on in the world right now, it’s important to have a voice – and to use it.
Kids don’t expect their dreams to come crashing down in flames – dreams should be an obstacle free zone. Dream freely.
