Happiness is a choice, and now, more than ever, we should all lean on its shoulders. The world will sometimes break us down, but it’s up to us to rebuild stronger. Brick by brick. Moment by moment, because we can.
What we choose to see, what we choose to believe, and what we choose to project becomes our ethos. We ultimately become what we choose to manifest. Hate life? Watch out – it might hate you back. Hate your job? With that mentality, you’ll never escape the negativity.
And so on it goes, into our relationships, our well being, and our overall mindset. What we choose to think – to believe – directly affects our quality of life. It directly impacts how we live, how we react, who we choose to spend our time with, what we choose to accept and tolerate, and how far we’re willing to go in order to make a change for the better.
You see, happiness is a choice. It’s not a guarantee or a foregone conclusion. And as such, it’s essentially never set in stone; money won’t buy it, good genes won’t cultivate it, and a great job won’t secure it. We do.
And it only happens when we decide to pursue it, embrace it, accept it, live it, project it, and lastly, manifest it.
We are so much more effective in life when we bring the best versions of ourselves to the table. Think about it. Taking care of ourselves, spiritually, mentally, and physically, ensures that we can better care for others. Smiling people help others find their own smile. Be well, and thanks for reading.
It's so important to focus our attention on what's going well and what's going right; it's all too easy to get sucked head first into the negative void that seems to lurk ever so slightly below the surface. Don't let it get to you, and more importantly, never let it consume you. Wear the vibe of positivity even you don't necessarily have it in you; focus on what's important.
We’ve all been there; looking back on a time in our lives where, had we exerted just a little more effort, we would or could have accomplished some achieveable goal. And now we think to ourselves, “why didn’t I try harder?” It’s easy to end up in that predicament. Flip the concept on its head and let’s try to remember that we can control how much of ourselves that we put into any given goal. If we half ass a project, we will get half assed results. Go full blast? The sky’s the limit. Let’s not box ourselves into a life of stunted efforts…let’s give these days 101%. Because we CAN. Best of days today!
We’ve all had bad days, right? They come with the territory…they’re just a simple (well, not always so simple) fact of life. It sounds easy, but we have to take them at face value and not allow a bad day to become a bad few days. Let it all end when the eyes close at night, then wake up with a new perspective. Here’s a few words to accompany what I’m saying…nothing fancy, nothing too poetic (well, not poetic at all), just having some fun with a nice little mantra to mutter when things aren’t going as we’d like. Just a little something that I (and hopefully you as well) could use. Blessings to you today!
Some easy, mellow tunes to accompany a sunny Monday. Peace to all!

If you’ve visited this space before, you by now may be fully aware of the fact that I love to dream. If you’re new to this space, welcome aboard! Hey, I’ll admit it…I am a professional dreamer. I love a good daydream. Who doesn’t, right? I have an incredibly vivid imagination, and putting that imagination to work is a fun challenge. You know what I’ve noticed, though? Dreams are nothing without action. They are just (super excellent) thoughts trapped within our brain until we do something about it. It really all comes down to one thing…how bad do you want said dream? If it’s worth accomplishing, then it’s worth the effort. Let’s keep on dreaming…but let’s not don’t forget to do. Peace and love (and good daydreams) to you all.
So if you’re reading this, then it’s a good sign…it means that you woke up today. How awesome is that? And how many people did not open their eyes this morning? Think about it. Let’s try to cast aside as many of the earthly troubles that we can today (jobs, finances, gossip, etc.), and take just a tiny moment to be thankful. For the air that we’re breathing. For the heart that is still beating. For another crack at life…which is gifted, not guaranteed. Let’s live today. Best of days to you all!
Hey, we’ve all been there, right? We’ve all failed at something…me, you, and everybody else…and we will most certainly fail at something yet to come. It happens; that’s just life. And you know what? It’s ok! So when we do, it’s important to alter our perspectives and accept it. Just….accept it, fix what we can, learn from it, and move on. Acceptance and courage can turn failure into a learning experience that we can use to grow beyond our limitations. Think about it.
Thanks for reading, and best of days to you all!
