I love the symbolic meaning of the Sunflower being adoration, loyalty and longevity. This is a beautiful piece, and I had no idea that Scheile ever created a botanical artwork, always thought nudes or landscapes.
Schiele was incredibly diverse…people, places, and things all fell victim to his brush. Thanks for checking out the post!
