Beauty….it's everywhere. It's in the mornings, it's in the trees, it's in our relationships, and it's even in our bad days (believe it or not). It can truly be found in ALL places. True beauty is just being alive; the most precious gift that we will ever be given. Life. It's easy to forget this concept, though! Trust me, I have to gently nudge and remind myself of this premise on the daily. Hope your day is beautiful.

My father often reminds me, "it's always something." Life does indeed tend to throw some curveballs, fastballs, and pretty much everything else at us; we can either get slammed in the face with those pitches, or we can try our best to swing hard and knock them out of the park. Poems – Natural Strength.

Earth…what a beautiful creation.  It has lived and breathed for eons, despite the often destructive eccentricities of humankind.  Earth embodies a strength that is hard to quantify, but is easily felt.  I think that, in today’s technologically advanced world, it’s all too easy to remain cooped up and locked behind walls, both literally and figuratively.  Let’s open the doors, get out, and soak up as much of that natural strength as we can.  Peace and blessings to all.

With the events in Manchester unfolding, my thoughts drifted to a piece that I’d written previously.  Times like these make you think; I believe that the key is to not lose faith in humanity.  To not lose faith in the belief that we can be better…and in turn, do better.  We can’t give up on hope.  Just a thought.  Peace and blessings to all.
