Who we are today is enough, for today. But overnight I find some kind of magic happens, a magic that turns today into tomorrow, or rather the tomorrow into today and the today into yesterday, and the me of yesterday never quite suffices for the challenges faced by the me of today… The night is for striving and stars and enriching the already abundant self. Or?
I like the mystery and mystique that you’ve drummed up here…the idea that the sleeping/dreaming world is almost a time portal that pulls everything together. That sounds like the making of a great little short story or something. But yes, that midnight soup blends yesterday, today, and tomorrow into (hopefully) a beautiful present moment creation. The night has immense creative and formative power (and the morning).
